Developers of Diablo 4 have yet to reveal details about the next major expansion, but it seems an announcement may be imminent. During an interview with streamer Rob2628, associate creative director Zaven Haroutunian (Zaven Haroutunian) gave a cryptic response when asked about upcoming news:

The remark sparked a wave of speculation — especially after players discovered an in-game image featuring the date December 12, which coincides with The Game Awards 2025 (considering time zones).

So far, Blizzard hasn’t offered direct hints about the expansion’s theme. However, fans believe it may introduce a new class long requested by the community. Many speculate the paladin could return — a theory fueled by the accidental appearance of the class name in a recent test build.

It’s been a year since the release of Vessel of Hatred, and Diablo 4 has since gone through several seasons and major loot updates. According to rumors, the new expansion may overhaul the skill tree system and serve as a natural continuation following the defeat of Lilith.

The next Diablo 4 season begins in early December, and if the predictions prove true, the long-awaited reveal could happen at The Game Awards within weeks. In addition, the company has ogłosiła BlizzCon for next year.
