In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the quest "The Finger of God" becomes the culmination of the Trosky region, preceding the final events. It begins immediately after the "Divine Messenger" quest and takes you to the Nebakov fortress, where you need to complete a number of important tasks. In this guide, we will explain how to properly provide first aid to wounded soldiers and what steps to take to convince Klara to spend the night with you.
You need to leave the fortress and walk with your comrade to bury the fallen soldiers of the ataman. Dig three graves, bring the bodies to them, and press "Bury the grave."
From the burial site, follow Godwin to the entrance of the fortress. When you arrive, a cutscene will begin. In the dialogue, you will learn about firearms, which are just beginning to gain momentum in the 15th century.
Near the stables, there is a cart where you need to load the bags. You can do this silently, or you can talk to the laborer nearby to pass a skill check and gain some experience points. We, for example, liked the "Fight" option.
This is an optional task that you can complete in the fortress. Talk to Ptacek, who is waiting for you at the main gate of the fortress. At the end of the conversation, he will offer you to play dice. Agree to his offer and try to win, although the result will not affect the plot — you will only get a few groschen. If you say that a little money wouldn't hurt, he will give you funds for the game. After the dice game, ask him if he wants to feel the taste of life again. This will not only lift his spirits but also increase your reputation.
Head to the blacksmith and talk to him. At first, he will not want to talk and will start accusing Henry — use any skill check to persuade him and increase your reputation. Then say that you know a little about blacksmithing. He will ask you to sharpen three weapons: a two-handed sword, a regular sword, and an axe. All items can be taken from the barrel in the corner of the forge.
Use the grindstone to sharpen all available weapons, then return them to the Bull. To do this, simply select the desired weapon from the item selection menu in your character's inventory. If you reply "I prefer working in the forge," you will gain some reputation. In addition, as a reward, the blacksmith will give you two dozen regular arrows and a dozen shots of buckshot for the handgun.
Head to the stable and ask the groom what he needs for tomorrow's offensive. He will ask you to forge some horseshoes. Since we've already dealt with the Bull, return to him and ask to use the forge. The materials for forging can be found in the same barrel where you took the weapons for sharpening.
Interact with the forge, select the horseshoe blueprint, and start crafting. To make a horseshoe, first heat it to a golden hue and place it on the anvil. Strike the horseshoe evenly, repeating the process until Indro confirms it's ready.
If the horseshoe has cooled down, heat it again to a golden color. Make three horseshoes, then return to the groom and hand them over. For your work, you will receive 55 groschen, a "Rooster" potion, and 8 lead bullets.
The task can be taken from the healer Klara, whom you might have met earlier during your first visit to the Nebakov fortress. She sits on a bench near the house with your bed.
Descend to the lower fortress and examine two wounded soldiers under the canopy. You'll find Kozlik on the mattress to the left. Another person will be nearby, but you need Kozlik right now. Examine him to assess his condition and pass the survival and alchemy skill checks.
Start Treatment:
You will find Mark on the mattress to the left of Kozlik. Upon examination, it will immediately become clear that he suffers from a severe headache. To help him, you will need to pass the survival and alchemy skill checks to assess his condition. You will also notice that he has vomited, and there is a serious bloody wound on his leg.
Start Treatment:
You will find Tsirek in the underground shelter, in the far corner of the room. Upon examination, it will be revealed that he has been hit in the rib area, and his right leg is causing him severe pain.
Start Treatment:
Returning to Klara, tell her that all the soldiers are healed. As a token of gratitude, she will give you some decoctions. You will have the opportunity to invite her for an overnight stay. To unlock the intimate scene, choose the response "Let's go have a drink already." If you choose "So, we're not hanging out this time?", Klara will come in the evening but will just fall asleep next to Henry.
In the morning, Henry will wake up to the hustle and bustle on the street. Watch the long cutscene, and upon its completion, immediately run to the guardhouse and take a halberd (voulge) if you don't have a similar weapon in your inventory. It will come in handy to knock down ladders from the fortress wall.
First, knock down the ladders, and only then help the soldiers deal with the approaching enemies. If you don't do this, you'll be stuck on the wall for a long time. Once the ladders are knocked down, the task will update.
Run to the main gate and climb the stairs to where Jan Ptacek was waiting for you the day before. Here, several soldiers will teach you how to handle stones. Grab a boulder and throw it at the heads of the enemies trying to break down the gate. Use the A and D keys or the stick on the gamepad to choose the stone's flight trajectory. Killing at least one soldier will earn you the "Stone to the Head" achievement.
When the main offensive forces retreat from the main gate, descend into the inner courtyard and talk to Zizka. He will say that the enemies have broken through the lower fortress. Climb over the fence using the ladder and fight the enemy forces.
Return to the inner courtyard of the upper fortress, where the enemy forces are again trying to break down the gate. Climb the stairs and drop a few more stones on the soldiers in front of the gate, then descend and finish off the breached enemies. Thus, the storyline quest "Finger of God" will come to an end, but the next task "Storm" will begin.
