100 Rogues is an arcade-style roguelike about exploring dungeons whose maps, monsters, and loot are randomly generated. Each run focuses on exploring new areas and fighting through turn-based encounters that call for tactical decisions. The dungeons contain magical weapons, armor, and other artifacts, as well as unusual enemies to battle.
Characters have their own skill trees, and gaining experience unlocks abilities that help them face tougher opponents. Progress is centered more on the player’s skill than on the character’s development: the hero is likely to die during a run, and success is measured by how far the player gets in a single attempt.
