A vertical shooter set in an alternate world where history and technology developed along different paths. 1942: Joint Strike uses a 3D engine while retaining the gameplay style of the classic 2D 194X games.
Players pilot World War II-era aircraft, push through waves of enemy fire, dodge explosions and missiles, and face large bosses at the end of each stage. In co-op, two aircraft can combine their power in a Joint Strike attack.
