A futuristic tower defense game in the Anomaly series, where aliens repel a human counterattack and protect their homeworld. Unlike earlier entries, attacking troops can damage and destroy defensive towers, so the battle calls for constant responses to enemy moves.
Across 24 levels set on orbital stations and undiscovered lands, the player places and upgrades eight types of towers and uses defensive structures to redirect human forces. Towers can be repaired, boosted or detonated to damage enemies. A technology tree lets players tailor their development to a chosen strategy, while three difficulty levels accommodate different levels of experience.
