This real-time strategy game depicts a conflict between two military factions in the near future: Gaia’s high-tech army and the veteran fighters of the Steel Alliance. Battles involve armored vehicles, aircraft and naval forces, while each faction has sub-factions with specialized units.
In Skirmishes, players build a base from scratch and assemble an army; randomly generated missions begin with combat already underway. Veterans gain levels, change their appearance and unlock commander abilities. Local network multiplayer supports both competitive matches and co-op battles against AI.
