This puzzle adventure is set in the Netherlands in 1520, where creatures emerging from paintings and statues infect the art and wreck the city. To stop them, the player helps Mr. Bruesen create the Aspectus, a perfect painting, before time runs out.
The hero explores the city after dark, uncovers its secrets, and talks to people to receive new missions. Workshops focused on locks, alchemy, and repairs provide items, while combining up to four objects lets the player build tools to solve puzzles and progress. The goal is to find and destroy the sect of amorphous creatures.
