Astro Tripper is an arcade shoot ’em up set in a science-fiction world, where a piloted craft battles waves of enemies across large, horizontally scrolling platforms. The craft can move freely over each surface, but falling off is a hazard. Combat uses two weapons: a blue laser that fires straight ahead and a red laser that spreads its shots in a fan.
Defeated enemies drop power crystals that upgrade the lasers. Foes include UFOs, tanks, helicopters, alien creatures and bosses. The campaign spans 14 levels across four worlds, with unlockable challenge games and global online leaderboards also available.
