Beeswing is an adventure game set in a small village in rural Scotland, where its creator grew up. The player visits familiar places and meets people whose stories helped shape the creator’s life.
There are no puzzles or combat; the game focuses on everyday scenes and encounters with villagers, including older people and the creator’s mother. Movement is deliberately slow, and the story includes sad moments. Its visuals are hand-painted in watercolour, accompanied by an acoustic soundtrack.
