Catch a Lover is a multiplayer action game for two to four players, centered on a husband trying to catch his wife’s lover while the lover searches for his clothes and a way out of the house. The wife and a dog also take part, making four playable characters with different abilities and objectives.
The husband can punch and throw small objects, while the dog can bark, bite, set traps, and track the lover by his clothes. The wife helps the lover and tries to keep the husband from finding him; the lover can also set traps. Matches take place in a large house with interactive objects and physics, and item locations are randomly generated.
