This first-person, turn-based role-playing game follows students at Particus Academy as they train to become adventurers and explore ever-changing labyrinths. Players assemble a party, choosing each student’s race, gender, alignment, and major, then develop their skills; majors can also be changed at higher levels.
In the labyrinths, the party battles monsters, searches for treasure, and tackles traps and puzzles. Encounters reward careful judgment, since knowing when to retreat can matter as much as choosing to fight. Components found during expeditions feed into an alchemy system for crafting items and adjusting weapons’ attributes, range, and strength.
