Close Combat: Last Stand Arnhem

A real-time strategy game centered on Operation Market Garden and the Allied and German struggle for Arnhem Bridge. The campaign can be played from either side: Allied forces seek to cross the Rhine, while German units attempt to stop their advance toward the bridge. The game is part of the Close Combat series and builds on Close Combat – A Bridge Too Far and Close Combat: The Longest Day.

The game includes battles, operations, and campaigns, among them an expanded Grand Campaign. On the strategic map, players move battlegroups, merge them, lend teams between formations, and spend points from limited force pools to recruit units. Tactical engagements feature river crossings by ferry or assault, as well as bridge demolition and repair; static forces can defend a map even when no battlegroup is present.
