A fantasy tower-defense strategy game about the forces of darkness protecting magical gems from heroes who seek to steal them. The player places towers belonging to orcs, demons, and the undead along enemy routes, using them to stop waves of attackers that include paladins, angels, and ninjas.
Each tower type has its own abilities: undead crypts frighten enemies, while demonic temples can turn the ground beneath them to lava. As levels are completed, towers and spells can be upgraded, and new abilities unlocked. The campaign can be played in a standard mode or Night Mode, where limited visibility adds to the challenge.
