This arcade platform shooter blends run-and-gun action with roguelike and RPG elements in the medieval city of Ravensdale, where a mysterious substance has turned the inhabitants into bloodthirsty monsters. A band of warriors sets out to save the city and reach the ultimate evil, fighting through seven levels that grow more challenging as they progress.
Combat revolves around choosing weapons and upgrades, as well as one of five unlockable character classes, each with its own skills and starting weapon. Level sections are combined with changing enemies, hazards, and loot, so runs vary; death sends the player back to the beginning, but earned perks remain and help the character grow stronger. The campaign can be played solo or in co-op for up to four players, online or locally.
