This puzzle RPG combines tile-matching with real-time combat. Runes move along a stream, and the player aligns them to attack enemies, defend against their moves, and cast magic. Attacks can be chained into combos, while each hero has special abilities of their own.
The party consists of four heroes with distinct skills that can be developed to unlock new attacks, healing magic, and time-altering powers. Each adventure generates a random sequence of battles against more than 40 creatures and seven bosses across ten environments. Defeated enemies reveal fragments of the world’s lore and the heroes’ past as they face the Dark One, who seeks to resurrect himself.
