This fantasy role-playing game follows Cecil, a dark knight and captain of the kingdom of Baron’s elite force. Ordered to seize four elemental Crystals from peaceful nations, he begins to question the king’s motives. After rejecting his former path, Cecil is sent to the Valley of Mist to face a mysterious beast, setting out on a journey marked by trials, betrayal, friendship, and loss.
Combat uses an enhanced version of the Active Time Battle system, where battles unfold in real time. Alongside the main adventure, players can train and customize Whytkin through mini-games and challenge another player to a local wireless battle.
