Fine Sweeper is a logic puzzle built around classic Minesweeper: players uncover tiles using the clues on the board while avoiding mines. The first move is always safe, but later progress can involve an element of luck, especially on higher levels.
The campaign gradually increases the difficulty and size of the playing field, while item drops help players advance. Extra lives can soften the consequences of a mistake, and special abilities can automatically flag mines or safely open tiles. Classic Mode removes extra lives; the game also offers a tutorial slideshow, custom game settings, a scoring system, and leaderboards.
