Frontline: Fields of Thunder is a real-time historical strategy game about the Battle of the Kursk Salient, Germany’s last attempt to avoid defeat in World War II and the largest tank engagement in history. The two campaigns comprise 20 missions, most of them based on real historical episodes.
Battle maps include geographical information and troop positions that change in line with the historical timeline. Unit parameters and battle dynamics are also based on historical data, and the roster includes additional unit types. The game also features 10 multiplayer missions playable over a local network or the internet.
