Symulator lotu
W symulatorach lotu gracz staje się pilotem statku powietrznego (samolotu lub śmigłowca). Dla takich gier tworzone są specjalne gamepady, wykonane w formie steru nowoczesnego samolotu bojowego. Niektóre gry dają graczowi pełne wrażenie pilotowania od startu do lądowania po wykonaniu zadania, a inne zaczynają i kończą misje bezpośrednio w powietrzu. Najczęściej w symulatorach lotu użytkownik wykonuje zadania wojskowe, ale zdarzają się również symulatory sprzętu cywilnego.
