Gladius — the game allows the player to create a gladiator school and battle opposing schools in search of fame and glory. The plot focuses on several main characters and slowly influences the group's decisions, eventually leading to a final big battle that tests the skills of all members of the school. When starting the game, the player can choose between a school in the Empire, home to a strong military mentality and soldiers who consider their northern neighbors to be uncivilized and bullish, or a school in Nordag, home to witches and forest animals, who in turn hate the Imperials for their desire for greater conquests.
