A medieval life simulation with role-playing and management elements, The Guild 2 places the player in a late medieval world to create a character and found a dynasty. Events unfold in real time, and the actions of the character and their companions can influence the course of history.
The character can pursue success as a merchant or a thief, develop skills, and form a party of up to three members with different strengths and weaknesses. Relationships and family also shape the dynasty: skills pass to descendants, while the family may prosper or decline. Rivals continue to act as events unfold.
