A side-scrolling arcade platformer about the elite Gunslugs squad fighting the Black Duck Army, which has returned with alien technology and is taking its war to the stars. The player battles through enemy forces, dodges barrages of bullets, and takes on tanks, helicopters, giant robots, and alien invaders.
The hero can wield weapons ranging from rocket launchers to lightning guns. Each level ends with a boss fight against a war machine or a Black Duck Army commander. The seven worlds contain eight levels each, while enemy bases and interior areas are generated randomly, varying each run.
