This post-apocalyptic action game with shooter and platforming elements follows Jak and Daxter after they are banished from Haven City and left to survive in a harsh wasteland. Jak travels through desert terrain, mines, and a volcano, using vehicles to get around and weapons and armor to fight enemies.
Weapons can be upgraded, while Jak’s abilities draw on his Dark Jak and Light Jak forms. Dark Jak gains new capabilities, and Light Jak can glide, shield against attacks, and power himself up. The journey also explores the mysteries of the Precursors and Jak himself as he learns to balance these opposing powers.
