Joint Strike Fighter — JSF — the game allows the player to take on the role of a wing commander of an unnamed Western alliance leading a campaign in four different (fictional) war scenarios set in Afghanistan, Colombia, Korea and the Kola Peninsula. The player can pilot any of the 2 prototype multi-role combat aircraft that participated in the Joint Strike Fighter Program: the Lockheed Martin X-35 (later selected for production) and the Boeing X-32. In aerial combat, the player is accompanied by up to three AI-controlled wingmen. Alternatively, the player can engage in pure aerial combat against computer or human opponents through online multiplayer and spawn modes.
