This adventure visual novel with role-playing elements is set in Japan, where humans, yōkai, and oni live together. Kayo, the daughter of an Edo tea-house owner, is ordered by a Tokugawa samurai to impersonate a princess and join a false bridal procession along the Tōkaidō road.
The story has two parts: “False Bridal Procession in Tōkaidō” and “Sword Retrieving Imperial Match.” Choices shape Kayo’s relationships with six main characters and influence how events unfold. In the second part, Magatama Selection tracks four attributes—courage, wisdom, love, and friendship—which determine the available endings. Each character has four endings, for 24 in total, and each ending unlocks an additional epilogue.
