This science-fiction strategy game centers on colonizing distant planets and competing for control of their resources. The player commands an expedition and oversees the construction of a settlement while rival forces seek to claim the same territory.
Developing a colony involves building mining stations, power plants, combat vehicle factories, and habitats. Resource gathering, construction, and tactical battles form the core of play, with more than 50 types of land, sea, and air units available. Most units can be upgraded to improve their armor, speed, and range. Players can choose from eight human factions, each with different advantages, and play in either turn-based or simultaneous-turn mode.
