Mecha Ace is a text-based science-fiction role-playing game set during an interstellar civil war fought by pilots in giant robots. The protagonist can become a hero, a villain, or a renegade, while the choices made throughout the story shape its course.
Players customize their mecha and duel enemy pilots wielding plasma monosabers. The protagonist can also lead a unit of elite pilots, pursuing victory through skill, cunning, determination, or firepower. The story may bring glory, disgrace, and even love, while the pilot’s aims can range from recognition and power to lasting peace.
