This baseball sports simulation features several modes, from exhibition games and league play to a home run challenge. In Season mode, players manage their own franchise by trading and signing players, moving them between the Major and Minor Leagues, scheduling practice, and pursuing a World Series title.
Success mode follows rising players in the Double-A system as they develop their skills and try to impress scouts while balancing personal situations. MLB Life lets players simulate a 20-year career in the Major Leagues, playing games, signing contracts, buying homes and cars, making charitable donations, building relationships, and taking up hobbies. Other options include starting a career as a rookie or playing as an existing Major League Baseball player.
