This action platformer with role-playing elements is set in the mystical Genroku era, where shogun Tsunayoshi Tokugawa’s thirst for power sparks a conflict over cursed Demon Blades. Their use brings madness and death to their wielders, while evil spirits and beings from the netherworld spread chaos.
The player takes the role of a male ninja or a female kunoichi and traverses hand-drawn side-scrolling levels. Progression moves both horizontally and vertically, with combat and navigation through layered locations at the heart of the adventure.
