The investigation involves exploring locations, gathering intelligence and leads, using spy gadgets, and uncovering dead drops and covert operations. Memories of Nancy’s childhood provide crucial information, while characters’ motives shift as the case develops. One setting is a remote training ground devoted to Scottish heritage and the Highland Games. Amateur and master sleuth difficulty levels are available, and mistakes can be erased without restarting.
