Set in the near future, this first-person tactical shooter follows the fight against the Syndicate, a terrorist faction whose trained mercenaries carry out sabotage, kidnappings, destruction, and espionage. In response, the world powers form the Global Assault Team, an anti-terrorist force tasked with tracking down and eliminating terrorists around the world. The player takes the role of a rookie member of one of its squads.
The single-player mode lets players complete missions, while online and LAN modes offer multiplayer battles. New World Order combines first-person shooting with tactical gameplay.
