This arcade American football game lets players choose an NFL team and compete through the season. On offense, the player runs the ball downfield and scores touchdowns by dodging opponents with jukes, jumps, spins and other moves; on defense, the goal is to chase down the ball carrier and make tackles. Opponents become tougher as play progresses.
Actions earn points that contribute to the team’s position in the global NFL Rivals rankings. The Gameday mode follows the selected team’s schedule, letting players take part in its season matchups; games between rival teams award bonus points.
