This action shooter with flight-simulation elements follows a special operation in Southeast Asia to stop Colonel LeMonde from using a nuclear weapon. Nuclear Strike continues the Strike series, retaining vehicle-based combat while allowing players to switch between several types of military craft.
Across the levels, the player completes objectives such as destroying targets or rescuing people before moving on to the next mission. The available vehicles include a Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopter and an M1 Abrams tank. Each has limited fuel and ammunition, which can be replenished by collecting supplies during missions.
