Przenośna platforma do gier firmy Nintendo, należąca do 7. generacji systemów gier. DS ma design „klapki” z dwoma ekranami LCD, przy czym dolny ekran jest czuły na dotyk rysika lub palca, co jest wykorzystywane w wielu grach na DS. Od 2005 roku Nintendo pracowało nad zapewnieniem najlepszego rankingu i jakości gier na DS. Istnieje w czterech wariantach (DS, Lite, DSi, XL). Sprzedaż DS na całym świecie wyniosła 146,42 mln egzemplarzy. Najlepszymi grami na DS uznano Nintendogs i New Super Mario Bros. Następcą konsoli stała się 3DS.
