Real Boxing is a boxing game built around a career mode and matches against other players. Its animations use motion capture from real boxers, and fights take place in arenas in Las Vegas, Moscow, Rome, and New York.
In career mode, the player faces more than 20 opponents, each with a distinct fighting style, and competes for three titles. Between bouts, the boxer can train through mini-games involving a skipping rope, heavy bag, and speed bag, while improving abilities and customizing appearance, clothing, and equipment. The game also features local matches on a shared screen and online multiplayer.
