This match-3 adventure takes place in the kingdom of Silverdale, where matching tiles helps explore large levels and collect items. The camera moves in the direction of each match, revealing more of the play area. Clearing sand, grass, and dirt uncovers keys, treasure, and quest items, and helps overcome obstacles such as rivers, cliffs, and overgrown vines. Matching shields fills a jump meter, while the mini-map allows travel to any point in a level.
Gold, wood, and stone are used to upgrade the town of Rivermoor; each upgrade grants bonuses, including new power-ups and abilities. The townsfolk Hadrick, Winifred, and Caius share their stories and offer quests. Their requests involve gathering materials for the monthly tribute sent to the king.
