A real-time strategy game about seven kingdoms competing for control of a land where people live among gods and monsters. The player leads one of seven cultures—Greek, Persian, Viking, Norman, Mayan, Chinese, or Japanese—and develops a realm in pursuit of dominance.
Reaching that goal involves managing the population and cities, trading, conducting diplomacy and espionage, and waging war. Victory can be pursued through military force or economic means. Each culture has its own advantages and weaknesses, a distinct God unit, and different military skills, shaping the strategies available to its leader.
