Shadowcrypt is an arcade-style dungeon crawler in which the hero explores labyrinthine rooms to find a necromancer and defeat his undead army. Sword-and-shield combat relies on timing, quick reflexes, and watching enemy behavior; the game draws inspiration from the combat in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link and has an old-school 8-bit feel.
