This strategy game is based on shogi, a Japanese board game often compared to chess. Shotest Shogi offers interactive lessons and puzzles that teach newcomers the rules and finer points, while experienced players can start playing straight away.
The single-player career features 16 computer opponents with different playing styles. Defeating opponents unlocks new challengers, and successful games raise the player’s rating. The game also includes online multiplayer, with matches played on 3D boards in two Japanese locations.
