This space combat simulator follows the Resistance’s fight against the militaristic Royalists, who have seized power and spread fear across the galaxy. The player takes the role of an ace pilot and battles enemy ships in space and around several planets, including a futuristic city, jungles, deserts and icy mountains.
Missions test either reflexes or tactical thinking, and players can fly one of four ships, each with its own weapons and abilities. The campaign can be played cooperatively with other pilots, alongside online and local co-op battles. Enemies range from small craft to large warships.
