This space collection brings together two games about humanity’s conflict with alien forces and the exploration of the galaxy. In Star Control, humanity faces the Ur-Quan Hierarchy, which is invading neighboring star systems; the player commands the Alliance of Free Stars fleet and fights the invaders.
In Star Control II, the player takes command of the prototype ship Vindicator, explores stars and planets, encounters alien races, and wages war. As the adventure progresses, the ship can be fitted with modules that affect its attributes. Both games combine space combat and exploration with humor.
