Star Nomad 2

This space trading and combat simulator with squad-RPG elements takes place in an open-world sandbox shaped by an evolving conflict among three major splinter groups of humanity. The player can trade, hunt bounties, turn to piracy, mine resources, smuggle goods or wander the universe. Actions and inaction affect inhabitants and factions, while the balance of power shifts as groups conquer and defend star systems.

Combat unfolds in real time, with a tactical pause, and different ship classes support different approaches. Squad progression revolves around skills, perks, upgrades and modules, with resources and loot from defeated enemies providing ways to improve equipment. Dynamic supply and demand, random events and encounters create trading opportunities and side quests, as well as choices with consequences.
