A space-based 4X real-time strategy game about expanding an empire and competing for galactic dominance. The player explores star systems, colonizes planets, and puts their resources to work developing the economy and building production centers. Galaxies can range from dozens to thousands of systems.
Ships can be designed by arranging armor, weapons, engines, and internal components. Technological research improves different aspects of the empire, while diplomacy and influence can be used to annex territory, spy on rivals, and assist allies. Multiplayer matches support up to 28 players and AI.
