This survival RPG with simulation elements takes place in post-apocalyptic cities overrun by zombies. Each new game randomly changes the neighbourhood layout, building interiors, loot, and the locations of zombies and NPCs, while keeping the main storyline the same.
Players create a character by choosing stats, traits, a job background, and skills, then gather resources, craft weapons and other items, cook, and reinforce doors and windows. Furniture and other objects can be moved to build barricades, while vehicles can be driven and upgraded. Survival is shaped by the day-night cycle, weather, seasons, injuries, and illnesses; NPCs can also be approached and joined as teammates.
