Super Lemonade Factory

Super Lemonade Factory is a retro platformer set in a politically unsettled postwar region. Andre can inherit his father’s lemonade factory on the condition that he and his wife, Liselot, make their way through the entire facility. Along the way, they meet workers and military figures, while conversations reveal the characters’ stories and touch on labour relations, gender roles and the moral dilemmas of running a business during wartime.

Players switch between Andre and Liselot, combining their abilities to reach each level’s exit. Liselot can jump higher, move small crates and talk to other characters; Andre can smash large crates and carry her. The game has three worlds—a warehouse, factory and office—with levels that require the pair to work together. Collecting every lemonade bottle unlocks a harder mode and additional levels, and a level editor lets players create their own stages.
