A global economic crisis fuels political instability and regional conflicts in the strategy simulation Supreme Ruler 2020. Players govern one of more than 250 territories, making decisions across government departments or delegating them to cabinet ministers.
The game combines economic management, diplomacy, and military command. Hundreds of military vehicle types can be researched, built, and deployed, while conventional forces and a nuclear weapons program offer different military approaches. Single-player and multiplayer modes include regional battles, missions, and campaigns. A sandbox mode, map editor, and mod support allow further customization.
