A full-conversion mod for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam shifts the fighting from the jungles of Vietnam to the snowy forests of Finland during the Soviet-Finnish Winter War of the late 1930s. It retains the base game's core mechanics while adding new maps and historically accurate weapons for both sides.
The arsenal includes weapons such as the Suomi submachine gun, SVT rifle and Lahti-Saloranta light machine gun, while Soviet forces field armored vehicles ranging from the T-26 light tank to the T-28 medium tank. Operating the vehicles requires coordinated crews. Finnish soldiers can use skis to cross open terrain and employ anti-tank weapons and traps; the mod also adds voice acting for both teams, music, character customization options, commander abilities and fire support.
