An interactive film with adventure elements and psychological suspense lets players assess the characters’ behaviour and influence how the story unfolds. The player observes Dr. Turner’s patient, her dangerous husband, and a mysterious nurse hired to care for the woman. Between scenes, Dr. Turner asks for judgments about the characters, and the answers affect the course of events and the story’s outcome.
The film’s narrative is combined with navigation and interactive sequences. The player also takes a series of Thematic Apperception Tests, whose results build a psychological profile over time and are used for an analysis at the end of the film.
