The Powder Toy is a particle-physics sandbox for experimenting with hundreds of elements and their interactions. Its simulation models air pressure and velocity, heat, and gravity; these systems can be used to make bombs, build logic circuits and processors, or design power plants and reactors based on real-world or imaginary reactions.
Players can also create landscapes, blast-resistant bunkers, and technical machines. The game includes creations shared by the community, which can be downloaded or uploaded, while a Lua API lets players make custom elements and install element packs made by others.
