Set in a fantasy world inspired by ancient Eastern culture, the game follows a creator who travels across the mysterious continent of Kunlun with young women embodying ancient artifacts. Once formless and seemingly harmless, spirits have become physical monsters that threaten the land, and the creator can fight them with the help of these companions.
Players strengthen the artifact spirits with equipment and special items, unlock their abilities, and raise their levels and ranks. Improving their affinity reveals additional stories. Outside combat, the spirits can manage buildings and undertake exploration tasks. Battles feature a capture mechanic and several modes, including faction wars and hunts against monsters.
